Intercad established its business in the year 2000 in Komárno “Slovakia” as a two family based company offering ship design and engineering services to a global market.

Our History
Over the years our small company has grown into an international organization employing over 30 experienced technical specialists covering all disciplines in ship design.
Intercad was a part of Norwegian Ulstein Group in the past, and we are proud of our assist in the design of the first Ulstein X-BOW vessel.
From 2013 Intercad Holland was added to the group in order to actively support clients with onsite design support, project administration and following up on new inquiries.
Over the years we have worked on a great variety of different vessels from Offshore vessels to container vessels and from Cruise vessels to luxury mega yachts. All work carried out has been to the approval of various classification societies including; DNV, BV, RINA, ABS, GL and Lloyds.
As engineers we have always made sure to stay on top of the latest developments and innovations in the shipbuilding industry.
Rules and regulations are continuously changing and we keep ourselves informed to make sure that we remain the right partner for our clients and partners.
Through our knowledge we bring value to our clients resulting in reliable cooperation’s for many years. Our clientele varies from shipyards and ship-owners to ship design and fleet management companies.
